(STACS) is a group of committed and talented emissions testing professionals providing consulting and source sampling and analytical services to a wide variety of industries.  Our engineers, scientists and technicians are dedicated to obtaining meaningful and quality test results for any emissions testing challenge. We design emissions test programs and perform stack testing using EPA Reference Test Methods as well as state-of-the-art sampling techniques to provide our clients with accurate, meaningful and quality data. We conduct tests throughout the United States as well as Internationally.

Company Profile

STACS' employees consist of a "hand picked" team with experience from major emissions testing firms throughout the country. The experience levels of STACS' employees in the environmental and air consulting industry range from nine to over twenty years. The average level of experience is approximately 15 years. STACS takes pride in providing the highest quality emissions testing and analytical capabilities. STACS staff have experience in determining compliance with Federal, State and Local air pollution standards, in conducting Continuous Emissions Monitoring System Relative Accuracy Test Audits (CEMS RATA) under 40 CFR Parts 60 and 75, and for in-house engineering and research studies.

Many of our staff have participated in emissions test method development and validation studies, background studies for regulatory development, and pilot and bench scale research studies. Our capabilities extend beyond routine EPA and State test procedures to exotic and state-of-the-art sampling methods. Our in-depth and intuitive understanding of both processes and sampling and analytical techniques is an asset that can make the difference in designing successful sampling strategies for complex test programs and difficult sources. This capacity often allows us to extend "value-added" services such as process, pollution control system and CEMS troubleshooting and optimization.  STACS staff members have provided source testing services at locations throughout the United States from Southern California to Washington State to Florida to Maine. Our staff also have international experience ranging from South America, Africa, Europe, the Caribbean Islands, to Asia.
