STACS provides combustion turbine (gas turbine) and other process startup support including initial startup monitoring,  test planning,
negotiating with state agencies, contract guarantee testing,
combustor tuning/mapping, SCR tuning, and initial emissions compliance
and/or CEMS certifications. We conduct these services World Wide and more
than 60% of our workload is CT startups. STACS intimate knowledge of
combustion turbines and related processes allow us to appreciate the
delicate balance between emissions of different species and engine
efficiency, output and combustor dynamics. |
Our staff integrate with the startup and tuning engineers to become part of the team. We are familiar with of the rapid pace of startups and are sensitive to the implications of making bonus awards and of avoiding liquidated damages. We work with your schedule instead of making you work around ours. |
